Frequently asked questions

What input types are supported?

URL, plain text, email address, and phone number. Each mode formats the content correctly for QR scanning apps.

Is there a character limit?

QR codes can encode up to around 4,000 characters, but shorter content produces a simpler, more scannable code.

Why does my QR code look more complex when I enter more text?

More data requires more modules (dots), which increases the visual density of the code. Very dense codes may be harder to scan from a distance.

Everything is generated locally in your browser — no data is sent to any server.
